This Maremma project encompasses a sizeable part of what used to be the vast agricultural holdings of a noble Florentine family: the Serristoris.
The project comprises, on the one hand, the philological reconstruction and the upgrading of the monumental villa (the main house) and the reuse of the stables, on the other hand, a complex, articulated expansion plan for the environmental rehabilitation of the whole area. An exclusive hotel is to be built in the villa and attached stables, becoming the central hub of a complex comprising all the accessory facilities of a contemporary hotel: spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, conference centre etc. The complex will be completed by new premises, some of them partly below ground level and some designed ex novo in the typical building style of the area, to be used as hotel annexes or as independent villas with all modern amenities and available for short and medium rentals.
A careful study of the buildings has determined the forms, colours, materials and construction models best suited to obtain full integration between the surrounding landscape and the developed areas.
